Peyton Burkett

Peyton Burkett is an Associate in the firm’s civil litigation division.

Ms. Burkett earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law at Urbana-Champaign. While at the College of Law, she was a member of the Myra Bradwell Women’s Law Society and served as a 1L Representative. Ms. Burkett served as a research assistant to members of the faculty during her time in law school primarily assisting with the revision of a criminal law treatise. Additionally, she interned with a small firm in Nashville, Tennessee during law school.

A Tennessee native, Ms. Burkett graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in Geography in 2015. While in undergrad, she held several leadership positions in her student service organization and completed over 100 hours of community service.
